Apple-Cinnamon Bread


  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla (you can do less if you don't want to use that much)
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup oats
  • 3 ½ cups whole wheat flour
  • 4 medium apples, chopped

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, mix ingredients together (in order). Pour into two bread pans. Bake for 40-50 minutes, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Enjoy!

  1. This bread sounds delicious! If I use white flour should I use a different amount? Also, is peeling the apples optional ?

    1. If you use white flour, you can use the same amount of flour. I didn't peel the apples -it's easier and doesn't make much of a difference- but you can if you'd like. Enjoy!!
